Our beginning started with a picture in a book.

Our founder and CEO Yuka Nakahata found a picture in a book that showed how the gender gap existed. This had an impact on her.  Therefore, she started to research more about the gender gap and found that the number of female board members at listed companies in Japan is only at 6%. She realized that she was one of the 6%. She wanted to understand why that was and help improve the situation. According to the World Economic Forum, Japan lies in the 120th position out of 156 countries in the Global Gender Gap league.

She is determined to support the next generation and bridge the gender gap as part of her mission. Because gender equality and sustainability are part of the SDG targets, they became a part of her vision after she completed her online sustainable business strategy at the Harvard Business School.
